V., Oct. 31.--The Brooke Glass works, which has been closed for four months, resumed in full this morning with union men, giving employment to 300 people. The old Panhandle Glass works, which has been idle for eight years, has been rehabilitated and started up. Their original line was "bar goods", although they made solid ruby glass for lantern globes. At one time they were the major supplier of ruby tail light lenses for Ford Motors.
