MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISE
Hills Brothers Branching Out-A
New and Delicious Beverage

Any industry that will bring money into a town from other towns in exchange for meritorious products is to be welcomed and encouraged.  Such an industry is the Riverside soda works, located at the corner of Pachappa avenue and Date street, Hills brothers proprietors.
This is an old and thoroughly established business, but recent increase of facilities, the addition of a new product, and extension of the business generally, warrant special notice at this time.
Hills brothers' soda eater, in "pop" bottles and siphons, is well known as has a fine reputation all over Riverside county, as well as the neighboring towns and counties.  But their new product, Bassara, is not as well known, though rapidly coming into favor.  Bassara is made of hops and is a very delicious and nourishing non-intoxicating beverage-said to be the perfect substitute for beer in every respect except the alcohol.  Indeed, successful experiments have been made in reforming beer inebriates by substituting Bassara for the alcoholic malt product.
This beverage is sold at all the fruit stands in Riverside, and the demand for it in neighboring cities is rapidly increasing.
Orders for any of Hills brothers goods can be left at F. T. Field's grocery, on Seventh street.  His telephone number is red 135.  Or a postal card addressed to Hills brothers will bring their wagon to your door with samples or to deliver your order.
