-----Messrs. T. E. Jenkins & Co. have introduced a new and very pleasant drink in our city in the shape of mineral water from the Paroquet Springs of Bullitt county.  This water is not only agreeable in flavor, but possesses medical qualities equal, if not superior, to those of any sulphur saline water in the world.  For dyspepsia and scrofulous diseases it is commended in the highest term by the facility.  Messrs. Jenkins & Co. are engaging extensively in the business of manufacturing chemicals.  One of the partners, Prof. J. Lawrence Smith, is a very distinguished chemist, and Mr. J. has very few equals of his age in scientific attainments.  Their establishment in on the corner of Third and Walnut streets.
