Dissolution.
THE copartnership heretofore existing between Thomas
E. Jenkins, Drs. J. Lawrence Smith, and Edward R.
Squibb, under the style of T. E. Jenkins & Co., was
dissolved by mutual consent on the 1st ult. The
affairs pertaining to the Drug and Apothecary business
at the corner of Third and Walnut streets will be
settled by Thos. E. Jenkins, to whom all bills against
that part of the old concern must be presented for
payment, and to whom all outstanding debts must be
immediately paid. The affairs of the Louisville
Chemical Works, corner of High and Thirteenth streets,
will be settled by Drs. J. Lawrence Smith and Edward R.
Squibb. The same kind of business will be carried
on by the respective parties at the aforesaid places. ______________________________
Copartnership.
THOMAS E. JENKINS has associated with him in the
general Drug and Apothecary business John R. Jenkins,
late of Washington, under the style of Thomas E. Jenkins
& Co., and will continue the business at the old stand,
corner of Third and Walnut streets. They will pay
special attention to filling Physician's prescriptions,
day or night, with the purest and most unexceptionable
medicines, putting up family receipes (sic), Doctor's
orders, and Photographic and Ambrotype chemicals.
They constantly keep for sale the choicest lot of
perfumery and fancy goods in this city, to which they
invite the attention of ladies and the public generally.
The prescription department of the establishment will at
all times receive the special attention of Thomas E.
Jenkins. ______________________________
Louisville Chemical Works.
THE copartnership relationship of these works being
changed by the withdraw of Mr. Thomas E. Jenkins, they
will be conducted by J. Lawrence Smith and Edward R.
Squibb, under the firm of J. Lawrence Smith & Co., to
whom all requiring information or wishing to transact
business will please forward their communications. ______________________________
