We
are pleased to see that the Councils have granted to
Messrs. Dupont the privilege of conveying the Artesian
water in pipes through the city. We should not be
surprised if these liberal gentleman were to build a
handsome fountain in the courthouse yard and make it a
present in perpetuity to the people of Louisville.
