DESTRUCTION OF THE LOCKPORT GLASS WORKS BY FIRE.--Last week we announced the complete destruction of the Lockport Glass Works, and it is now our unpleasant duty to chronicle the destruction of the main building by fire.  On Thursday morning last, the wood in one of the drying ovens caught fire, and owing to the dryness of everything adjoining and around, the flames enveloped the entire building in a very few moments.  Efforts to stay the flames were useless and the building was entirely consumed.  The ovens and ovens were not materially damaged.  The proprietors are now engaged in replacing the building, and it is their intention to be able to resume business within ten days from the time of the fire.--Lockport Cour.
