The Committee on Premiums, fully sensible of the
importance of the trust assigned them, have called to
their aid the best talent and ability they could obtain
to advise them in the distributions of premiums.
Where there are so many competitors, all cannot obtain
prizes; some are and must be greater and better than the
rest. We hope those who draw blanks will not be
discouraged, but continue their efforts to
improve--success is sure to follow.
