BEING ABOUT TO LEAVE THE CITY, I TAKE this opportunity of returning my thanks to the citizens of Richmond and vicinity, for the very liberal patronage they have bestowed upon me during the last seven years.  It is with feelings of no small regret, that I take leave of my many and dear friends, from whom I have received so many manifestations of kindness and respect.  My declining health thus compels me to serve the many ties that bind me to Richmond; wherever my lot is cast be assured I shall ever cherish the highest regard for your future health and prosperity.
I remain every yours, most respectivefully,
                                                            MICH'L. McCORMACK.
Having sold my interest in the Soda Water and Bottling Establishment, to Mr. P. Ladd, (my late partner,) I take pleasure in recommending him to your patronage, feeling assured that he will serve all (who may favor him with their patronage) as well and as promptly as they have been heretofore.
