At Lockport, N. Y., on Friday last, Mr. WILLIAM M.
CUNNINGHAM, late of this city, age 28 years.
The above intelligence was received to-day by telegraph, and, though not
unexpected, will fall with a painful regret on the
numerous friends which his sterling virtues and amiable
traits of character had drawn around him. Though a
young man, by his energy, industry and integrity, Mr. C.
had already attained a position among the first
merchants of our city, and was justly esteemed, both as
a man and a citizen; and while we are pained at this
bereavement, we also feel that he was one of whose death
will be a loss to the city.--Wisconsin, of Monday.
